Robbery On June 21st, 2008 around midnight a Pizza Hut delivery person was delivering a pizza to 1717 Green Forest Run #112 when he was attacked by two males. The suspects are described as two black males, late teens early twenties, approximately 6 ft tall. An undisclosed amount of cash was taken from the victim.

Armed Robbery
Janesville police are seeking an armed robbery suspect. At
about 10 AM Thursday, June 5, 2008, a 34-year-old Janesville
woman reported she was walking on the 1000 block of Jackson
Street when she was approached by a black man in his
mid-twenties. The suspect was riding a black mountain bike with
silver lightning bolts. The suspect demanded she turn over
money. He did not display a weapon but threatened to stab the
victim. She turned over a small amount of money. The suspect
fled on the bicycle and was last seen eastbound on Delavan Drive
heading towards Beloit Avenue.
The suspect is described as around six foot tall and 140 pounds. He was wearing a blue baseball cap, black wind jacket with a white stripe on the right sleeve, black matching jogger's pants and white tennis shoes.

Hit & Run Accident JANESVILLE-Janesville police are asking the
public's help in finding a red, full-size pickup with front-end damage that
was involved in a hit-and-run accident Tuesday, August 28, 2007.

Bike Trail Exposure
Janesville Deputy Police Chief Dave Moore says a white male
suspect exposed himself to a woman rollerblading near Lexington
and Mohawk on the city's bike trail Friday morning. The
woman went home before calling police. Eleven officers searched
for the suspect. Moore says the man is not the same person who
attacked a woman on the bike trail May 31st. Moore says the
description matches a man who exposed himself near Rotary
Gardens in 2005 and 2006.

Vandalism in Janesville Janesville Police are investing two strings of vandalism. The department has received about 30 reports of broken vehicle windows in the near east and central parts of the city. Police believe the windows were shot out with with a BB gun. Most incidents so far have been located on Rockport Rd, Ringold and Fremont street. There has also been vandalized flags and doors on mailboxes in the southwest corner of Janesville. Mercy Hospital Robbery Janesville Area CrimeStoppers is offering a $1,000 reward for information about a man who drove up to a woman outside Mercy Hospital Wednesday June 27,2007and robbed her. Police Lieutenant Keith Lawver says the man and the driver of the vehicle then fled the area. Police don't have a description of the driver. Lawver says the passenger is described as six foot tall white male, around 220 pounds and between 25-30 years old. The man has a shaved head and a tattoo on his right forearm. Lawver says the robbery is unusual circumstance within the city. Theft of Metal Increases in Rock County Higher scrap metal prices result in thefts of kegs and other metal from Rock County businesses and homes. Beloit Police Sergeant Mark Franseen says all kinds of metal from iron to steel and aluminum to copper are being stolen because they bring a high price. Police usually discover the motive for the theft when they make an arrest. Franseen says restaurants in Rock County are reporting kegs stolen and a church in Beloit has had copper gutters stolen. Franseen says it's a crime of opportunity and the best form of prevention is to remove metal objects from view. Franseen says local scrap yards call police when someone brings in an object, like a keg, that appears to be stolen. Drug Houses The

drug houses in order to decrease criminal and antisocial behavior.
Illegal drug activity should be everyone’s concern, and with your
help, together we can reduce crime and increase the quality of life and
safety of everyone. If
you observe short-term vehicle and pedestrian traffic to a particular
residence, please note the description of the vehicle, license plate, and
any occupant identifiers. If
you observe unkempt properties, an increase in litter and the discarding of
drug paraphernalia such as plastic baggies, plastic tubes
or smoking devices, please report this information. Illegal drug users often resort to such crimes as burglary, theft and robberies in order to support their drug habit. Please be vigilant to increases in this type of activity or suspicious persons in your neighborhood and report these crimes.
