2008-08-30: Suspicious Fire

On August 30, 2008 at 3:00 a.m. the Janesville Fire Department along with the Janesville Police Department were dispatched to 2315 Beloit Avenue, Tigre USA Inc., for a fire call. Upon arrival a fire was found on the north side of the business. Several pallets full of PVC pipe were on fire. Estimated amount of property lose was $100,000. The fire appears to be suspicious in nature; however, the exact cause of the fire is unknown at this time. This fire is under investigation.
